Young People's perspective on knife crime.

The Barnardo's report "APPG on Knife Crime - Young People's Perspective" (August 2019) examines the issue of knife crime in the UK, focusing on the experiences and insights of affected youth. Prepared for the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Knife Crime, it analyses why young people carry knives, the environments that encourage this behaviour, and the resulting psychological and social impacts.

By including firsthand accounts, the report provides a nuanced view and offers evidence-based recommendations for policymakers, educators, and community leaders to reduce knife crime and support impacted youth.
