Tackling knife crime together

The Ben Kinsella Trust invites members of the community to come together to learn about how we can tackle serious youth violence, knife crime, and the important supportive role that communities have in preventing young people being criminally exploited.

Join one of our workshops to learn more about these important topics.

This 2-hour training session is intended for members of the community, community leaders, faith leaders, local businesses, parents & carers and others who wish to tackle serious youth violence.

The course covers the following topics:


  • The drivers of knife crime and serious youth violence, a local perspective

  • Vulnerabilities and risk factors for young people

  • The stages of criminal exploitation

  • Building resilience in the community

  • Early intervention and preventative measures

  • Further support and resources available


The workshops are hosted by The Ben Kinsella Trust.
